We are canvassing today
With only six weeks to our next election, it is time to knock doors. Gather a few friends, family members, and Campaign supporters and start your plan for outreach.
Your constituents need to from you and people who support you about why you’re running, who you are, and why they should vote for you.
Today I am gathering with other colleagues in the race and we are going to start canvassing in our neighborhoods to get the word out about absentee, voting early voting, and making your selection known at the ballot.
I will admit that sometimes it is hard to get out and knock doors. It can even be scary, but it is very rewarding when you are reaching people sharing your message and getting to know your neighbors.
You hear directly from them their concerns, why they vote the way that they vote and how you can support them with your Campaign messaging.
Take a few friends get your Campaign materials and get out the vote. Knock on just a few doors test the waters because this is the time right now for personalized outreach. If you are so inclined reach out at friendstoelectmividaburrus@gmail.com, to help us canvas, phone bank and write postcards.
